This was particularly relevant over the past twelve months when we have focused on our technology, processes and people development – resulting in enhanced productivity, heightened customer satisfaction, an increased rate of employee and customer retention and growth. Business performance is extremely encouraging, which is not only good news for us, but also for the wider economy.” Alastair Hamilton, Chief Executive of Invest NI and member of this year’s judging panel said: “Northern Ireland business has traditionally punched above its weight on the world stage. Much of this success has been achieved by individual companies focusing strongly on their unique selling proposition and relying on the expertise of others to deliver essential support services. In many instances, it is these providers of services to other businesses that underpin end to end excellence in customer service delivery, with this year’s winner being a worthy recipient.”In addition, Northgate was commended in the ‘Excellence for People Development’ category for its commitment to creating a sustainable learning and development culture, equipping staff with the appropriate skills, knowledge and processes to deliver innovative, industry-leading IT services. The Belfast Telegraph Business Awards were announced at a gala ceremony in Belfast’s Ramada Hotel, attended by representatives from leading local businesses, shortlisted across nine categories.
