Public Services 02-Jul-2008 - [Northgate Public Services] Northgate pushes ahead on transformation partnerships with major new appointment to local government and social housing team Northgate Information Solutions today announces the appointment of Peter Tucker to the local government team as the company strengthens its drive to deliver innovative transformation partnerships across the UK. Peter, who has over twenty years of experience in the IT and BPO industries working with blue chip companies, has been appointed Director of Sales and Marketing. He has extensive operational skills and know-how in delivering key services across the local government sector and securing major partnerships with local authorities across the country. He joins Northgate after three years at Serco, where he worked on local government strategic partnerships, including a major partnership with Glasgow City Council. Prior to that, he was Business Director at Capita, managing one of the broadest public private partnerships within local government. He has also previously worked for Fujitsu managing a variety of services in Scotland. At Northgate, he will be directly responsible for developing local government strategies to address the changing needs and expectations of citizens. Peter will focus on supporting local authorities and Housing Associations as they transform the way citizens access public services to promote social inclusion and healthier communities. The expansion of Northgate’s local government team follows the recent appointment of Vipul Patel as Business Development Director for Northgate Kendric Ash. Both appointments mark Northgate’s commitment to developing innovative performance partnerships for local authorities and placing sustainable transformation at the heart of public services.
