Invensys, a global technology group supplying solutions, software, consultancy and equipment to monitor, control and automate processes in a wide range of environments, has signed a seven-year contract worth GBP £35million with NorthgateArinso. The global HR services provider will deliver HR and payroll processes to Invensys’ global workforce in more than 50 countries. Invensys aims to deliver a more efficient service to its employees through euHReka, NorthgateArinso’s standard HR solution powered by SAP HCM, using the solution both as a BPO service for administrative HR and payroll processes, and in an OnDemand mode for Talent Management processes. The self-service element will enable staff to manage general administration and processes themselves, reducing the HR team’s administrative duties and allowing them to focus on wider strategic initiatives. Invensys will also take advantage of euHReka to deliver HR processes, such as learning and compensation management, via self-service, without the need to install a software platform locally. In addition to deploying euHReka globally, NorthgateArinso will also use its proprietary ResourceLink solution to deliver payroll services in select geographies. “By outsourcing all HR administration and payroll we’re able to take advantage of NorthgateArinso’s global expertise and vast experience in this area – it’s a fantastic bank of knowledge we’d never have been able to replicate in-house in an efficient, cost effective manner,” said Paula S. Larson EVP HR at Invensys. “We started to review our options to provide a better HR service to our internal clients and realised that working with NorthgateArinso would transform the way we provide the service, at a lower cost.” “Outsourcing the HR, payroll, learning and compensation performance management functions to a single, consistent point of contact will not only free-up managers’ valuable time, but also ensure Invensys complies with the many employment regulations that exist worldwide. Ultimately, this partnership means all HR processes will be supported by a single supplier from the day an employee starts in the business to the day they leave,” said Mike Ettling, CEO at NorthgateArinso.
